It’s hard to believe that the last head-to-head meeting between USC and Texas, two bluebloods of college football, came 11 years ago at the 2006 Rose Bowl. You may remember that game.

On that Jan. 4 night over a decade ago, Longhorns quarterback Vince Young scampered into the end zone for a nine-yard touchdown with 19 seconds left to clinch a 41-38 victory and the 2005 BCS national championship.

Saturday night, the Trojans and Longhorns meet once again for a Week 3 primetime matchup at the LA Coliseum. No. 4 USC puts a 2-0 record on the line against a Texas team (1-1) looking for its first win over a ranked team in the Tom Herman era. Kickoff is at 8:30 p.m. ET on FOX.
