12 teams and 12 individuals took to Findlay Country Club on Wednesday in the opening round of the DII Women’s Golf Championships.

The battle atop the leaderboard went back and forth for much of the early part of the day until DBU clamped down. They were able to separate from the pack, being the only team to shoot under 300 with an 11-over, 299.

Ann Parmerter led the way for DBU with a 1-over. She is tied atop the individual leader board with St. Mary’s Maria Regina Gonzalez, Pilar Echeverria of UIndy and Regis’ Mary Weinstein for a share of the individual lead.
