SUGAR GROVE, Ill. – Day 2 at the 2017 NCAA DI Men’s Golf Championship saw better weather as programs finished up their second rounds Saturday. UNLV, behind a 9-under day, moved into first place at -14, just one stroke better than Oklahoma, which also shot 9-under Saturday.
The low round of the day belonged to LSU, whose 11-under moved the Tigers to a tie for seventh at 8-under. Programs will continue to jostle for position on Day 3 Sunday, with only the top 15 squads advancing to the following round on Monday.
