The 2017 Division I Women’s Soccer Championship will feature a pair of Pac-12 teams after Stanford and UCLA won their respective semifinal games in the College Cup on Friday night.
Stanford clinched a spot in the national championship after defeating South Carolina 2-0, then UCLA defeated Duke 0-0 (4-3 in penalty kicks) after the two sides played to a scoreless tie through regulation and two 10-minute overtime periods.

The No. 1 seed Duke Blue Devils (23-2-0) are back in familiar territory as they return to the NCAA College Cup for the second time in three years, facing the No. 2 seed UCLA Bruins (19-2-2) Friday, Dec. 1 in Orlando, Fla., for the chance to play for the national championship.
The winner of Friday’s contest will move on to the national championship match to face either No. 1 Stanford or No. 1 South Carolina, which face off Friday at 5 p.m. The NCAA College Cup Finals is set for noon Sunday, Dec. 3.
