UCF continued its perfect season in Saturday’s AAC championship game, topping Memphis 62-55 in double-overtime.

The Knights and Tigers combined to score 117 points, the highest total in a conference title game in FBS history, per ESPN Stats & Info.

  • Quarterbacks Riley Ferguson and McKenzie Milton combined for 965 passing yards and nine touchdowns. It was just the fourth time this season two quarterbacks have thrown for more than 400 yards in the same game.
  • The teams combined for 1,479 yards of total offense, each gaining more than 700. No school is averaging more than 600 yards this season.
  • UCF (48.3) and Memphis (47.0) were the two highest-scoring teams in the nation coming into the game. Still, their averages increased after this game.
  • Ferguson and Milton each averaged more than 10 yards per passing attempt. They combined to throw 82 times.
  • Six different players (three on each team) rushed for at least 50 yards and a touchdown.
  • Four players racked up 145 receiving yards or more. Memphis’ Sean Dykes averaged 53.7 yards per catch.
  • There were only five combined punts all day.
