The U.S. women’s national team continues its inevitable qualification for the 2016 Olympics on Saturday, facing off against Mexico.

The defending world champions dismantled Costa Rica in the opening match, 5-0. It took all of 12 seconds for Alex Morgan to find the match-winner. Mexico won’t exactly pose much of a threat, either.

What They’re Saying

Mexico head coach Leonardo Cuellar (via Fox Sports): “Maribel [Dominguez] is the first to recognize that it is the job of the whole team, and I want to emphasize that her [career]81 goals is impressive and confirms that she is an icon in our country where women’s soccer is concerned, but [it will take]balance to the group and responsibility of what should be as a team to beat the U.S..”

USWNT forward Carli Lloyd (via Fox News): “What [Morgan] does great is get in behind the back line. [Her performance against Costa Rica] was great. We had a good connection.”

USWNT midfielder Alex Morgan: “We always see [early goals]coming. It always starts off right, then something goes wrong. This time [against Costa Rica], nothing went wrong.”
