The 2018 NCAA Division I Tennis Championship semifinal matchups are set as four of the top national seeds remain in the hunt for this year’s national championship.

On one side of the bracket, No. 1 Wake Forest and No. 5 Texas A&M will square off, while No. 2 UCLA and No. 3 Ohio State will meet in the other semifinal. Both semifinal matches will take place on Monday, May 21, at 4 p.m. ET at the Wake Forest Tennis Complex in Winston-Salem, N.C.

The championship is scheduled for Tuesday, May 22, at 5 p.m. ET.

This will be the first year since 2008 that a school besides Virginia or Southern California will win the national championship. The Cavaliers took home the title in 2013, 2015, 2016 and 2017, while the Trojans won in 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012 and 2014.

UCLA has won 16 national championships, most recently in 2005, along with 14 runner-up finishes. Ohio State has appeared in the championship match once – in 2009, when the Buckeyes lost to Southern California.

Wake Forest and Texas A&M have never played in the national championship.
